Black Truffle Turnover

INGREDIENTS

- 1 sheet puff pastry 

- 2 small Black Truffles

- 2 bacon slices

- 1 egg yolk

- 1 tsp water 

- Salt and pepper

DIRECTIONS

- Preheat the oven at 350F.

- Prepare the wrappers: use a bowl to cut 2 round pieces in the puff pastry sheet.

- Roll up your truffles in a slice of bacon and carefully sit them in the middle of your dough, add salt and pepper.

- Fold the dough in two, use some water and a fork to make the edge stick together. 

- Brush your turnovers with egg yolk mixed with 1 tsp water and let them sit in the oven at 350F for 30 minutes until golden and puffed. 

- Ready to serve.
