Black Truffle Turnover


- 1 sheet puff pastry 

- 2 small Black Truffles

- 2 bacon slices

- 1 egg yolk

- 1 tsp water 

- Salt and pepper


Preheat the oven at 350F.

Prepare the wrappers: using the face of a bowl, cut two round pieces of puff pastry dough.

Roll up your truffles in a slice of bacon and carefully sit them in the middle of your dough, add salt and pepper.

Fold the dough in two, use some water and a fork to make the edge stick together.

Brush your turnovers with egg yolk mixed with 1 tsp water and place in the oven for 30 minutes until golden and puffed.
